۴۰ monuments and historical areas will be recorded as national heritage in Abarkooh

The public relations office reported :                                                                      

Mr. Abas Ghadirian the manager of Abarkooh cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism office said that 40 monuments will be recorded as national heritage by amount of 700 million Rials . He also said "by this amount of money we can topograghy several monuments around the city and finally the monument record documents will be prepared and sent to Yazd province.

The manager said "Abarkooh old city texture has been recorded as national heritage city texture last year and the special single monuments will be identified and I hope that these exclusive monuments will be recorded as national heritage as soon as possible."

He added that a number of these monuments belong to historical castles and areas and some of their names are listed in Shahname.

He noted that Abarkooh is one of the historical city of Yazd and its famous monuments includes of; cypress tree(with 4500 years old), Gonbade(dome) Ali, Abarkooh jame mosque, Soulat mansion, Nezamiyeh minarets, tomb of Azizaldin Nasafi and Aghazade mansion.
